the room was nice, but water pressure in the morning was laughable, barely a trickle for someone so unimportant, I also expected a welcome gesture for my stay but alas, nothing. clearly, this place doesn’t prioritize special treatment. I almost gave a good review, but I just couldn't. my vacation deserved more than mediocrity.

idyllic, idyllic, idyllic
I spent 5 nights in a Double Room with Mountain View and was utterly enchanted. The personalized breakfast menu featuring freshly sourced local produce was a delightful start to each day. Moments spent lounging in the garden, surrounded by beautifully maintained grounds, felt like a tranquil retreat.

We had a lovely stay with our grown-up kids! The location is perfect, just a ten-minute walk from Ambleside, where there's plenty to explore. The cozy atmosphere was complemented by Roy and Barry, who added charm as they visited us daily for treats.
My wife says that the breakfast options could be a bit more varied for families.
